The Band of Joy was great
The North Mississippi All-stars, the openers, were perfect for setting the mood and energy for Band of Joy. I was more than excited to see Disney On Ice and the Band of Joy and this show exceeded my expectations. To my surprise, I got to see 3 Zeppelin songs performed other than what I had read had been performed at prior concerts in the tour. I am a big Zeppelin fan but didn't have any expectations to see Zeppelin on stage, instead I gained an all new appreciation for the Band of Joy which was already growing on me. They were both very talented and kept me in awe for the entire set (I wish it had been longer).
Great Energy
Imagine Dragons is loved by my 14-year-old son. For his Birthday present, I figured this would be a good 1st concert for him. We had nosebleed seats, yet the performance was still great from where we sat. The audience was very mellow. They did a couple hits, then their entire new album, a lot of the crowd did not know the songs and things were very quiet for about 10 sings, then they end again with more hits. They should scatter them in there so the audience doesn't lose steam. The energy of the group is contagious though when they perform their hits. The look on my son's face was priceless, speaking of which, the tickets were decently priced compared to what some of the performers of today are charging per ticket. I paid the same amount for 4 tickets as I paid for one ticket for a different performer.
